Student Megan Bennett to study at University of Miami School of Music

The faculty and staff of the Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts wish to congratulate student Megan Bennett for her acceptance into the University of Miami's Frost School of Music.
Ms. Bennett has been a student at the River Ridge School of Music for the past ten years during which time she has studied piano with Russell Tucker and voice (seven years) with Stacy Chamblin, Paulina Kocic, and, most recently, Rebecca Caston.
In addition to her studies at LAAPA, Ms. Bennett has also studied Classical Voice and Musical Theatre at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts for the past four years with Phyllis Treigle, Blake Coheley, Ron Bermingham, and Donald Lewis.
Megan will be working towards a degree in both Musical Theatre and Vocal Performance at UM. We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors!
