Preschool Music
Our Preschool Music program (ages birth - 4) consists of an age-appropriate curricula with a focus on early learning and the development of the whole child nurturing skills and preparing them for private instruction at the age of 5 while having fun singing, moving, and enjoying our drums and other percussion instruments.
Our Mini Mozarts class (ages birth - 18 months) provides a wonderful introduction to the joy and love of music for lap babies, crawlers, beginning walkers, and parents! Each class is held once each week for 45 minutes. Mom or Dad attend the class with the child. This class focuses not only on the child, but also on the parents as the instructor provides the parent with skills to use daily to supplement and enhance the class and development of the child. The children participate in listening, singing, and playtime. Exercises and class topics are all age appropriate with developmental focal points explained by the instructor.
Our Preschool Music I and II classes (ages 18 months - 3 years) and (ages 3 - 4 years) also provide an excellent introduction to music. Each class is held once each week for 45 minutes. Both classes cover singing, listening, pitch, dance, rhythm, creative play, and group ensemble performance. Classes provide parent-child interaction working toward whole child development. In Preschool Music II, students are formally introduced to the piano. Parents attend with the child for the entire class in Mini Mozarts and Preschool Music I. Parents attend with the child for the last 15 minutes of each class in Preschool Music II.
