Embouchure Development for Brass Players

In this edition of our Lagniappe Lesson series, Mr. Peter demonstrates a variety of techniques for building a strong embouchure which apply to all brass instruments such as trumpet, trombone, french horn, tuba. What is an embouchure? Embouchure is the use of the lips, facial muscles, tongue, and teeth in playing a wind instrument. This includes shaping the lips to the mouthpiece of a woodwind instrument or the mouthpiece of a brass instrument.
